Advocacy in Action
For the PASMA team, advocacy is all about commitment to the community we serve, as well as our individual clients. Advocacy, as we see it, is finding creative solutions for making life in SMA safer by developing easily used tools in emergencies, enabling higher-level services through the ongoing education of caregivers, and fostering greater peace of mind for San Miguel de Allende residents and visitors as we continually dialog and explore creative service options.
Go Bag
One of our newest projects is the development of an easily accessible Go Bag. Equipped to carry medical records and personal care needs, the Go Bag is perfectly designed to be kept stocked and ready to go in case of an emergency.
Refrigerator Magnet
One of many small takeaways that make access to care easier for our members when they have a question or more urgent needs for services. The refrigerator magnet is always handy.
Checklist for Healthcare Management
PASMA remains committed to providing tools that meet the needs of our clients - from To-Do lists to medical record keeping, we continually try to find creative ways to address essential aids.
Staff Training
We are committed to ensuring that our clients are served by the best caregivers in the area. To that end, we are committed to providing ongoing education and training for caregivers who work for us and with us. Currently, we are providing ongoing training in English and CPR. New classes will be developed as needs are identified.
Medical Alert Devices
One of the first levels of service for which PASMA has become known. We listened to our clients and now can offer Medical Alert Devices which work inside the home and out in the community- expanding your world and enjoyment of all that SMA offers.
Neighborhood Meetings
Soon we will be going to the neighborhoods to do small group training and present programs requested by the community that foster the basic concept of advocacy - empowering others to help themselves.

Preparation of Medical Directives has become one of the most requested services by people settling in Mexico. Doing it right makes all the difference and we have the team who can help you do it right.
